Adele- “Remedy” Guitar Chords.
The timing is a bit tricky. If you’re having difficulties, start off with just single strums until you feel that rhythm ;)
Go buy the album! It’s so good!!

How do you know what the strumming pattern is? Sorry, I’m new to guitar!
Strumming definitely takes a bit before it “clicks”, that’s for sure. I compare it to clapping your hands along to the beat of a song- lyrically.
Like the syllables of a word- “pi-a-no”. That would be 3 claps. Well, you can add a few claps within that “pi” ,”a”, and “no” and so forth, depending on how drawn out the pi…..a…..no is. The same goes with strumming. Does that make sense?
This songs strumming is kinda tough. For the verses: Beginning with Em-1 full strum letting it ring out, then another quick strum of the Em right into the D- full strum letting it ring out, then another quick strum of the D right into the A- full strum letting it ring out, then another quick strum right into another A again- full strum letting it ring out, then another quick strum and then it starts over with the Em again. It changes up a bit in the chorus. You can follow the same above but with 2 quick strums instead of 1 before you change chords or you can do some dudu’s in there.
I would suggest trying an easier song with a straight forward timing to practice strumming. (The very first song I felt like I could actually play and it sounded like the song was “Fearless” -acoustic version by Taylor Swift.) One day it will all just “click”. I promise! But practice, practice, practice! The more you play the sooner it will be :) Oh! And play right along with the song while you’re listening to it. That helped me tremendously!
Have fun and good luck!! :)
Okay! That makes sense! Thank you so much! I’ll try that one out (:
