About LLG♥
Hello there! I’m a wife, mother and self-taught guitarist. I first picked up a guitar in 2010 and haven’t put it down since! I’m not that great of a player, but I get by. Besides, my talent isn’t in the playing, it’s in the ears ;)
I first discovered I had an ear for transcribing music while playing tabs on Ultimate Guitar. So many of them were just wrong! I started making correct versions and it just grew from there. I left UG having tabbed over 300 songs on that site. (I was the #1 Daily Most Popular Contributor for over 2 years straight, and I’m still in the top 10. Not bad since I haven’t posted a tab on UG in many, many years!)
In 2013 I created Live Love Guitar and amazingly enough, I’m still here! I’m just a little site but I think users know they can count on correct, well formatted tabs. I try to make my tabs as easy as possible while still being correct. This makes a huge difference for new players! I would have quit playing had I not learned the beauty of a capo and transposing :) My capo is my best friend!! (If you don’t have a capo, you must get one! It makes the world of difference for beginners! Go now! Then come back to Live Love Guitar and play away!)
Thanks for visiting and I hope I can keep up with all the song requests being submitted, keeping Live Love Guitar alive! :)
Does anyone know the little hammer/pull off bit that he does in the intro?
Thanks :)
Love it XD You are awesome! Thnks for this tab
You’re welcome :)
Hey!!! :) I was trying for SO long to find tabs for this song…..and I finally did find one!!! I was hoping to find one with the exactly same chords which Jamie uses, but I figured: “What the hell? It’s too difficult for an auto-taught begginer to play like this, so let’s give that tab a shot.”
And it really helped me….and now I can play this song to my friends and family…..So thank you for that….
Keep the good work!
Thanks :) I can’t play barre chords so I always have to transpose to get rid of them! All my tabs will still play right along with the original so all’s good. I think this is a fun song to play ;)
Is there a strumming pattern for jamie campbell bowers waiting?
Cheers mel
Hi Mel :) Try watching the video and playing along with the song (repeatedly) to try and match the strumming. The intro (and other palm muted parts) is simply, quick-short down strums (on only the A,D and maybe G strings) to the beat that he plays;( it’s something like double, maybe triple timed quick downs then pause and repeat -if that makes sense.) For the rest he does a lot of just dudududu… and so forth with some pauses and maybe a dduudu here and there. It’s SO hard to put strumming patterns down on paper, especially patterns like this song has- Very quick, fast strumming. Maybe I can do a video tutorial….
