Intro- (Begins at 0:05)

     D...

D A Bm
 I am a lonely painter
                           G
I live in a box of paints
                               D
I used to be frightened by the devil
             Em A
And drawn to those ones that weren't afraid

D A
Remember when you told me love
                Bm
Was touching souls?
             D G
Well, surely you touched mine
                D
Part of you pours out of me
      Em A
From time to time in these lines

G F#m
You are in my blood like holy wine
           Em D

D F#m Bm
I could drink a case of you darling
G D Em
And still be on my feet yeah
    A G D -(4 counts)

  1. Thanks this is great! I tried to write the chords for this song as well. Capo on 2nd fret and mostly G, D, Em throughout the entire song. My version was very, very basic.

Again, thanks! I will add this version to my repertoire.
